Short journey to Plymouth Hoe Promenade and quickly set up in our preferred location. Surprise, surprise - nobody had informed Mr Morethanmyjobsworth Car Parking attendant again and we were asked to move. Common sense eventually prevailed once more, however, and we were allowed to stay in our location.
Today's course was approx .8miles long, not ideal but at least better than a 400m running track.
A sunny start for Andy
The raced started and Andy ran a few laps on his own when surprise, surprise, the Lady Mayoress returned, minus her chains of office and joined in with the run.
Andy continued to run the circuit, finding it hard work today after the relative breeze of yesterday. Yet he would be the first to say "If it was easy, everybody would be doing it wouldn't they!"
He finished in a time of 6hrs 39mins , packed his bags and set off to the next venue, Truro, as far south as we gol!
We arrived at our chosen RV site for the night which just happened to be the venue for tomorrows marathon. We were fortunate to meet the Park Ranger / Caretaker, Paul Kistle who went out of his way to make us welcome. and we installed ourselves in the perfect location for tomorrows run.
I prepared dinner for everyone and timed it to be ready for when Andy and Sophie returned from this evening's presentation.
Then it was back to the hotel for Andy, Sophie and Nikki and blogs and admin for me and Barry, maybe a little TV 'coz Mama Mia was on!
Eventually, it was time for bed with the knowledge that an easy start to the day was on for tomorrow.

Hi Benji,
Have you had a good day? I know that Poppy is sleeping over tonight and I think that Loz is there too. What fun you will have playing with your friends. Have you been helping mummy and Uncle Rory in the garden? I bet the garden looks lovely now.
We had some visitors in the bus today and one of them was a little girl called Lilly. She was very cute and 3 years old and she brought a friend to meet Champ and Shine. Can you see him in the picture.

Spot the Teddy
There he is, sitting in between Champ and Shine. But Lilly would not leave him behind when she left. She took Teddy with her. Maybe we will find another friend for Champ and Shine soon.
A little bird told me that you are sleeping in mummy's bed tonight. I bet you will be snugly warm.
I will call you on the computer in the morning. We are at number 26 on the map then.
Love you little man. Only 3 sleeps after tonight before I see you again.
Daddy.
